17 children & widowed

Looking for help on paternal Grandfather, married Mary Graham nee Unknown?  they had 17 children, the first born was not Marys Husband's child.  Known in Bath Lane Stockton on tees, Mary died in Stockton, anything before pretty much unknown.  A Large family back in the 1900's onwards wont have gone unknown I guess, so any help appreciated, needle and haystack come to mind ???

Can you be more specific with your dates for Mary?
Am I right in thinking that Graham was her married name?

Yes Mary was her married name, I don't know my grandfathers name
