Surname correct?
« on: Tuesday 23 February 16 13:09 GMT (UK) »
In the FamilySearch census for 1891 it shows Thomas and Annie Bibby with daughter Jane bc1885.
I suspect that they may not be Bibbys.
Can someone please check the writing on the original. Thanks.

I am looking at the same entry (in Bethnal Green) and agree with Rosie99.  The capital B is clear and pretty much the same as the one in his profession as Butchers porter and in others such as Boot laster and Bethnal Green on the same page.  The other letters are pretty clear too.  Are you expecting he and she to be 25 years of age, he born London, she Ireland and Jane "at sea"?
I am Zoe Northeast, granddaughter of Maximilian Double.

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
Zoe

Thanks. Yes you are looking at the same as me. I cannot find their marriage or births or further census records. I don't have any other information.

If the daughter was born at sea they could also have been married out of England.

Annie was born in Cork, have you tried Ireland  :-\
