St Mary's Ruabon - Lomax
« on: Thursday 25 February 16 13:52 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Can anyone help please. I am trying to trace the origin of a Thomas Lomax, who married Ellen Roberts at St Mary's Ruabon in 1892. The Thomas I am looking for came from the Bolton area, and his father was Robert, a blacksmith. Any info much appreciated, thanks

Welcome to Rootschat!    ;D

on the parish marriage entry Thomas gave his occupation as cotton finisher, his address as Halliwell, Bolton and his father as Robert, a blacksmith. One of the witnesses was John Lomax.
