Looking for Family on Census
« on: Friday 26 February 16 08:46 GMT (UK) »
I have a Scottish Wedding Certificate for a Walter Bulmer born 1878 Yorkshire & married in 1900 to Jane Morrison Known as Jeannie born 1875 Scotland
The certificate shows the father as William Bulmer (house Painter) Deceased and mother Elizabeth Brockbank previously Bulmer Laverick
I am trying to trace the family of William on any census he was born about 1840 in Yorkshire and also trying to make sense of Elizabeth's name. There is a marriage for William Bulmer to Elizabeth Laverick in 1861 in Selby....But cannot find them having a son Walter
Thank you

Familysearch.org has a marriage between Elizabeth Bulmer and James Bateman Brockbank on 8 Jun 1889 at St Lukes, Chorlton upon Medlock.  Elizabeth and James are both cited as being Widowed.
