There are published trees, two of which have spouses but neither have the name Salmon.

I do not have a death cert..I am acting on behalf of a pensioner who does not have computer Knowledge or access.This lady was his grandmother being his father's ( Albert Salmon born Mar 1925 Middlesborough) mother.

have you considered that Lilian married and during WW2 her husband was killed and she remarried a Mr Salmon under her first married surname ??

Hi it is possible she married in West Ham 1917 as LILLIAN M and as a widow married a Sidney A Salmon as Lilian M Wimperis 1931 in Manchester?

According to the tree she married or became Mrs Wimperis.

Lilian M Wimperis married Sidney Salmon in Manchester 1931

a WW1 rather than a WW2 marriage is a possibilty I guess as Albert the son born in 1925 was registered as a 'Salmon'..?

Lancashire BMD has the 1931 marriage and records Lilian as having a previous name of Ravenscroft.
Groom - Sidney Albert Salmon.
