looking again at what i already have and giving what you said about possible discrepancies in some records.
i know this does not tick all the boxes.
but we have a baptism 15th jan 1815 of elizabeth roberts to edward and ann trefor isaf. at trefor chapel.
what do you think please. i assume that trefor isaf may be in corwen not denbighshire ?.

Hi Brian

You seem to have an awful lot of threads on the same subject!

And others that I've linked to on those threads.

Trefor issa/isa/isaf and ucha/uchaf are in Llangollen parish and roughly coincide with the modern day Trefor:

Llangollen parish is in Denbighsire but was in the Corwen registration district after 1837. These are distinct administrative divisions. As you are dealing with parish records, they are in Llangollen parish and the county of Denbigh(shire).

Added - I think we found that the most likely marriages was ~

12 Sept 1804, Oswestry
Thomas Pritchard and Ann Jones.
