finding a death , John Ponder

but do not know how to sort this one 

John Ponder born 1st Aug 1929 , you will not find his birth anywhere    but I know it happened

and for all of his life He was called John Ponder ... I know He has died and in England , but cannot find a death date,

because I do not know where to look, it was after 1975 .

Are you sure he's dead ?

I can see a death for a John Hargrave Ponder in Wandsworth in 1982 but year of birth is out, 1st August 1926.

Yes Jim1   defiantly dead .

sgf28   I suppose someone could have guessed his birth age when He died 

the day and month are correct .

I do not know if He married 

He was born out of wedlock on 1st Aug 1929.

I am trying to find someway of researching his ancestors .

his biological Father use to have him stay with him and his family through out his young and

teenage years.

this is how I know his birthday and name ,

He was not given his biological Fathers surname ,

and looking for a John Ponder in births , nothing comes up 

the 1939 register is no help ,  I have found 41 blanked out Ponder children .

but not knowing his Mothers name is driving Me potty

I don;t think the one you found is him,  I just googled him , that one was a journalist ,

I think they would have defiantly got his year of birth correct .

And what was your John Ponder's occupation?

& do you know where his biological father lived. This will give us some sort of geographical location of where we should be looking.
