1841 Census. William Thomas Stafford Senior B= 1826. Charles Stafford B= 1827
                     Butchers yard. East Wymer Norwich.
Is it possible to find their parents ?

1846 William Thomas Stafford Senior married Catherine Darcy B= 13 Jan 1846 ireland
         Married in Liverpool.

1851 Census both show in Liverpool. He a hairdresser. Plus 2 sons William Thomas Junior B=1848
        and  Joseph B=1851.

1861 Census. All show above in Wrockwardine Wood, Shropshire plus Catherine and Mary(children)

1870 William Thomas Stafford Junior married Elizabeth Blythe (widow of Charles Blythe, Stone
          Cutter)
He 23 yrs she down as 28yrs but 1861 census shows her born 1830 so 40 yrs old. She
         fibbed. Married in Leeds

1871 Census shows them as family with her son John William Blythe Stafford in Leeds.

Do not know what happened to her after 1871. Death ???

1871 Census. It would seem that William Thomas Stafford Senior has died.
         Cannot find his death.??
1871 Shows Catherine living with other son Joseph (also hairdresser in Liverpool.)

1881 No apparent records which is annoying.

1891 Census. William Thomas Stafford Junior tuns up in Islington having had 4 children by Elizabeth Golding Sims...William B= 1885 (died 8 years later)
Walter B= 1887 (Died in 1917 France) Grand father of a friend.
Harry B =1889 (goes in Barnardos and goes to Canada)
                       Charles B= 1891 (D= 1965)

William married Elizabeth in 1894 after all the children were born which I find strange, unless his previous marriage to Elizabeth Blythe was still in place.

In 1897 William is wiped out by a stroke and goes into Islington Infirmary. He died in 1910
The family were left destitute and go into care. Elizabeth goes onto to have more children with a Ernest Woods and they eventually go to Canada and are reunited with the children that went into
Barnardos. They both die in Canada.

Any information gratefully received

To answer the first question "is it possible to find their parents" you have marriages for both of them so either of the marriage certificates should give a fathers name to start the ball rolling  :)

"1846 William Thomas Stafford Senior married Catherine Darcy B= 13 Jan 1846 ireland

Something wrong here. B1846 had two sons by 1851.

Now in 1881 and 1891 there is a William Stafford widower born Norwich 1826/27 who is a lodger.

However his occupation is a baker.  Living Lakenham Norfolk.

In 1841 there is a couple William Stafford b1893 1793 and Susan Stafford b1894 1794 living in a group dwelling cannot open original to see what form but only 4 people an 80 yo and a 20 yo in same house different names.

This above couple would be right age for parents for parents of William and Charles. Will see if they can be further identified.

And William is a baker.

Both together (William and Susan) in 1851 age 58.  William still a baker not a hairdresser as per sons marriage certificate.

Same for 1861 both age 68.
