I am trying to trace Elizabeth Spracklen nee Gilligan born in Sligo in 1925

Are you sure that she has died.  Rootschat does not allow us to post names of possibly living people.

I am sure she died in 2010

I have tried the Irish government site to try and track down a birth certificate however there appears to be no trace and I suspect that her birth was never registered

There is a 100 year cut off point on Irish Genealogy try FamilySearch

Only possibility I can see is 1924 registered in Roscommon

Do you know if she had any siblings as there are a few Gilligan births in the County around that time.
