A quick question. I have been checking a number of cases in the Court of Chancery at the National Archives recently and virtually all of the records I have looked at are filed under C11.

Recently I came across the Anglo-American Legal Tradition website which includes a number of documents held at the National Archives scanned online. I have found a number of references to family members and the website has saved me lots of searches at the archives. All the cases I have seen so far are listed as C78 and I wonder what the difference between this and C11 is.
