looking for information on Olive Taylor
« on: Tuesday 08 March 16 11:07 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find info on my late step mum. Her maiden name was Taylor, she married Harry Keegans in 1945, she remarried in 1956 to Leonard Daniel Garrett (my dad) and I think she married again in 1975 to a man with the surname Cross. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I don't know where Olive died or indeed when. She was my stepmother and I never knew much about her. I'm really trying to find out where and when she was born.

Hi what would give you/us a massive clue, would be the marriage certificate of your father, at least then you/we would know the name of her father and his occupation?

The marriage certificate has arrived. She was born in 1926, Married a Harry Keegans in 1945, they must have divorced because she married again in 1945, this time to my father. Her father's name was Walter Taylor and he was a miner. I know she was born in the North of England, possibly Durham. It is possible that she went on to marry again in 1974.
