Trying to trace Daniel Love, Chieveley, died about 1870.
« on: Wednesday 09 March 16 15:27 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find details of Daniel Love who owned New Farm Chieveley at his death abt 1870.

I have a valuation of his house and farm carried out by Wm Simmons & Sons, Henley on Thames on 29th September 1870, on behalf of his executors: John Henry George Love (who I am also unable to trace), Barnard Body Deane and Richard Wernham.

My 2x g grandmother was a Sarah Love 1804-? who was married to George Deane 1806-1873 (Barnard Body Deane's parents).   They are also proving to be elusive.   My great grandmother was Elizabeth Wernham (nee Deane), Barnard Body Dean's sister.

Can anyone help please?

Daniel Love 39 farmer
Bernard Deane 23 nephew bn Shinfield
Elizabeth Deane 14 niece

Hmm , we now have found 2 Daniel Loves in 1851?  One with each of the nephews!!!  One must be a great nephew I guess, and one Daniel the father of the other?
