Help with doing reports please.
« on: Sunday 13 March 16 00:02 GMT (UK) »
Back in the 1990's a book was created of all the descendants of two Irish immigrants to NZ who married and had 9 children. Fast forward 25 years and I've got the job of updating the book.

I have entered all the information into FTM2012, but it does not seem to have a report that matches the layout of the original book. The original layout is vertical with generations in columns. Its quite a nice layout and seems to work well in book form.

Attached is an example with names and dates removed to protect the guilty.

Is there anything out there that can produce a report like this from a gedcom file?
At the moment I am manually typing everything into Word2010 and its getting tedious.

I downloaded your example but my tablet couldn't open it for some reason.  I think what you describe is possible on Tribalpages : http://www.tribalpages.com/freefamilytree.html.
Definitely worth a look, maybe the Descendant chart is what you're looking for?
