Trying to find the parents names of my 4x great grandfather Charles Penery b.1801 in East Stonehouse, Plymouth, Devon. He was married to Mary Penery (nee Baskerville) b.1800. Any help would be appreciated.

You should try Genuki Devon >East Stonehouse [ensuring that you then click onto the new version]. There is a comprehensive list of baptism records and their locations, in particular note that the record for Corpus Christi Independent Calvinist Chapel Union Place ends in 1800 so just beyond your anticipated date of baptism [1801]. [The 1851 census estimated year of birth 1800 so you may be in luck].

Unfortunately East Stonehouse is not covered by the Devon OPC project.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

Even if East Stonehouse was covered by the OPC project - there are no PENERY (or variant) baptisms at St George's, East Stonehouse (C of E) before 1829. I  have checked these records many times as this question has been posed here and in other forums on several occasions.
There is a Susan PENRY bapt at Plymouth St Andrew in 1815, dau of Thomas (labourer) & Ann.
A Thomas PENERY married Anne PERRING 7th Jan 1798 at Totnes. Ann PENNERY born 1771 was buried at East Stonehouse 24 June 1817. Thomas PENERY died in 1849.
Charles PENERY was buried at Ford Park Cemetery 11 Feb 1874 aged 73 - address 100 North Rd Plymouth.
