Information needed on Michael Nash born 1799 at Melksham married to Elizabeth Prosser at Melksham. Shown on 1841 census as living at Beanacre, Melksham.

Looking for Michael's parents

This could be a possibility with an alternate spelling , "Naish " :

Thanks for your reply. BUT I am confused by research results. It may be that there were two Michael Nash born in Melksham c1799 and therefore I have a choice of parents (neither proven). The Michael Nash listed in the 1841 census married to Elizabeth Prosser and living at Beanacre is definitely my ancestor.

I thought that maybe someone could provide me with the missing link as a few year have passed since my original research.

I can only find one Michael Nash/Naish born around that time - on Familysearch there's the baptism in 1798 mentioned above, and census entries from 1841 to 1871. There's a good chance the baptism is for your ancestor.
