I am trying to find a lead to  George Edward Fox, he was married to my grandmother Beatrice Elizabeth Sallis/Willmott. He married her in 1926 lewisham,they had only one son as far as I can see

Birth registration was March qtr 1929

Have you looked for him in 1939.  He could still be living in which case he won't appear on that register

You should consider removing his name as it is likely he is still alive  :-\

George E Fox married Beatrice in the  JunQ 1926;  a copy of the certificate should give the name and occupation of his father.  A copy can be ordered from GRO and cost £9.25.
