Hi all. I am still hoping someone might know where I could get an obituary/death notice for Agnes (Le Beau) and John HENDERER? Or find further information on Frederick GORE. Could he be the man who died in 1972 at Kelowna, British Columbia? Maybe an obituary there will help too!
Thanks, Katharine.

I admit I didn't read this thread fully to know all the details of your Frederick, but I don't think think the Kelowna fellow is yours:

Nothing on the Henderer's yet but here is Julia Le Beau (no mention of Frederick in her obituary)

You have both dates of death for John and Agnes Henderer, might be worth contacting Cottage Grove Library to see if they can help you ?  There is an "Ask th Librarian" link here

Civil registration started in 1869, so if Catharine died prior to that, you won't find her in the Ontario Deaths collection (availably on Ancestry, but also available.. for free.. on familysearch).

Just remember that even though civil registration started in 1869 it didn't mean that people/parishes were compliant.  It took a long time for that to happen.  My second-great grandmother's death in 1888 is not in any records that I can find.  The only place I found it was on her gravestone.
