Hi guys, they are not on 1911 census as my grandmother has her father as deceased at the time of her marriage in 1902, but she was married in Liverpool, not sure where he died, also her brother states both parents deceased my uncle Richard Kehoe enlisted in the military, he was killed on the Arandorra Star, when he was in the Army, they wrote to a Bridget Kehoe, Carbally, Tranmore, Wexford, I don't know who she is, poss a sister or aunt ???

Reading through the pages of his service record , at the bottom of the Military History Sheet it states :

Next of kin : Mother Bridget Kehoe ; elder brothers Matthew , John and Daclan ; younger William and Patrick; Carbolly , nr Tramore , Co. Waterford.

Does this fit with what you know ?

The CWGC website shows Richard's age at death in 1940 as 52.

There was a Richard Kehoe born in the townland of Ballinvella in the civil parish of Kilmacleague on 6 April 1889 to parents Declan Kehoe and Brigid Power, he looks a reasonable fit as I can see matching siblings in Declan (1883), Matthew (1884), John (1886) and Patrick (1894).

But just be aware, there were 2 County Waterford Brigid Power - Kehoe marriages on the go. The one that fits best was Brigid the daughter of Matthew Power who married Declan Kehoe, the son of Declan, in Tramore parish on 25 October 1883. The other was Brigid the daughter of John Power who married a Michael Kehoe, the son of Richard, in St. John's parish on 20 January 1883.
