Looking for information on Hugh McGonigal/McGunnigal/McGonigle/ McGunnagle   1799 according to the McCabe's List of early Irish settlers to the Ottawa Valley Ontario Canada 1823-1829 #86 Hugh McGunnagle is shown as coming from Donegal , Moville, Derry. has a brother John residing in County Donegal Parish Moville Town of Derry. I have a record that his father is Patrick and his mother is Anna Boyle. Just wondering if there is any more information  on Hugh?

Looking for information on Hugh McGonigal  1799 and Margaret McLaughlin 1803. Records show Hugh's parents as Patrick McGonigal and Anna Boyle and Margaret's parents as Micheal McLaughlin and Mary McKenna or McKinna. They were Catholic who emigrated to Canada. I did see an early post showing a marriage of Hugh McGonigle and Margaret McLaughlin in Waterside Catholic Church don't know if there is any connection or not.

Sorry didn't mean to confuse. Just thought they were two separate things. One concerning the McCabe's List and the other concerning information on a marriage.

Unfortunately it looks like there aren't many records surviving for Moville.

Deaths          2/11/1846 - 23/7/1854

Probably way too late to be of any use.
