Looking for info on Kendrick from Birkenhead

Hi

I am from South Africa and am looking for information on my wife's family from Birkenhead

The Family name is Kendrick and the limited info I have from the family bible is as follows

(H) Samuel Kendrick Died Nov 28 1929
(W) Sarah Kendrick Died July 4 1940- Buried Flaybrick Hill cemetery
They stayed at 13 Prince Street Birkenhead
They attended St Marks church

There is also a death notice for a Fanny wife of Charles James (Moor court lodge) who died Jan 30th 1929.

Where would be the best place to start looking, besides the pay as you go genealogy sites.

this looks like the same family in 1891

This looks the most likely candidate for "your" Samuel

My wifes side is descended from the Robert 8, he had a son Robert who moved to South Africa and there had a son Tony who is my wifes father.

Where would I find info on the Robert line?
