Boston Union Workhouse
« on: Wednesday 06 April 16 21:51 BST (UK) »
I have recently started getting back in to my family history and my mum has told me that one of my ancestors was in the Boston Union workhouse and had a child there.
I found this rather intriguing and was hoping for a little insight on where I would be able to find some reliable information and records from this workhouse.

All I know is that Elizabeth Gosling was in the Boston Union Workhouse and that she gave birth to a daughter, Harriet Gosling while there. I am unsure on any dates which makes this harder. I am certain that Elizabeth was born around the 1800's and her parents were Thomas Gosling and Ann Ashling.

If anyone knows of how I could find any information that may help, it would be much appreciated!
