Wouldn't worry too much about that Google Book link- what you need is a townland not a hamlet.

Just throwing this in for consideration even though it's not in Roscommon-

Doohamlat townland, Clontibret Parish, Co. Monaghan (Castleblayney Poor Law Union/Registration District)- only about 30 miles from Tandragee.

Perhaps if you post all the other details on the certificate we might be able to pin down the location  :)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I like the idea of Drumharlow, but I can't quite make it fit my reading of the handwriting - but I am willing to be persuaded!

There is a baptism for Basil Joseph Sandys 1880 in Durham Kilbride, Roscommon  ???
Parents James Sandys and Margaret White Sandys.
