Hi, thank you for the welcome, yes I hope to get a reply, I've been researching my Gade family tree on and off for a couple of years now. Glad I found this site, I'm hoping to find some living Gade's.

Have you been in touch with the person who received the photos as he is a direct descendant?

If you go to the other post and go to the 2012 reply from pjgabb88.  Click on the little scroll icon under his photo and you will be able to send him a personal message - just like an email

Do the same with the 2016 reply from Richardsommerygade

Thank you, I will do that, am not sure how this all works yet so your tip is a great start, just by chance I managed to see the photo of w r Gade they were talking about, what an amazing find.
