Hi Everyone,

Thank you very much for all your help but can anyone advise the best way to find what happened to him.  As I would love to find his grave so that I could visit it.

You could try contacting some of the care homes in Dumfries to find out which one he was in. You could also order his death cert from Scotlands People, which should tell you where he died.

Hi Annie,

Thank you for your reply and Happy New Year to you.

I followed up the leads I contacted the nursing home who said they would get back to me and never have just to find out if there resident had a Northern Ireland accent but no luck.

All I do know for sure is that he went to Paisley probably in his early 20's

So I can't say for certain that this is my relative at all
