Died in the Plague (?)
« on: Saturday 09 April 16 14:03 BST (UK) »
Does anyone have access to the Parish Registers of Calne, Wiltshire. I have 7 deaths all in the same family all in the space of just over 1 year -  1636/37. The deaths are recorded on the LDS Database as occurring in Wiltshire. However there was an outbreak of the Plague in Calne in this same period. I would like to know if the PR actually states place and cause of death e.g. Calne, Plague. They were all baptised and/or married (if they survived) in Calne. The name is Lanfyre or Lanfier.

I've tried to access the site but there appear to be problems. Firstly can't find "user registration". When I tried to find contact details for Calne OPC had no joy. There is no contact button. Seems the site is not working as suggested.
