No these are not the couple, far frrom it.
I may be accused of being a bit careful, but I am not at this stage prepared to divulge my surname. What I will tell you is that my information came from"Ancestry" when I was researching my family tree

It's a secret?   ???

I can understand if this is the case for recent events but this is a marriage that took place over 200 years ago.  :o

I may be a bit thick at times - so, if it's not too rude a question, why have you started this thread?

That seems like a perfectly reasonable question.  :)

Steelman, I think the information you found is probably wrong, but ...

Can you post the image but blur or omit the names if you don't want anyone to know them?

We mainly want to see the bit where ages are given as I don't think any of us have seen this before, so naturally we are curious. There is a first for everything.  :)

Nice and vague.

Steelman, it might be worth checking this research yourself to confirm it's accuracy.

Freereg has good coverage for some parts of Lincolnshire, and this site is also good:

It actually gets better, from the trees - their first child is born 1813  :o :o
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Steelman. You need to go back to the drawing board.  :)

There are plenty willing to help you if you need it - even if you would just like your research checked. Just say the word.  :)

Can I just add - it's always really helpful to check research.  I bet all of us here have made assumptions which have turned out not to be correct, once additional sources are found.

No insult to you, therefore, is intended at all - we're all fascinated with your example, and want to help you check, using all the experience of the Rootschat members.
