Hello from Kiwi Land.

An interesting HISTORIC find for this researcher. Carries over 140 named proprietor’s / businesses in 1854 Launceston.

“THE undersigned beg to acquaint the public that they have agreed to close their respective Houses and Offices of business, from September to February inclusive, at the hour of one o'clock, p.m., on Wednesdays, thus giving an half-holiday weekly”

Advert was placed on the 10th and again on the 12th of August 1854. in the Launceston Examiner.

Presumably a good secondary source for placing a research subject in Launceston in August 1854. In my case a family of musicians.
