The date is in fact 23 messidor an 6= 11 july 1798
Pierre ? (still can't decipher the name) Lefebvre, cooper , 25 , son of Louis Lefebre and Marie Catherine Bouchet living in Boos, and Rose Monnier , dressmaker,19 and 6 months, daughter of the late  Jacques André le monnier who died in Neuville and Marie Thérèse Malortis

The second forename of Pierre LEFEBVRE was Latuin (checked by a paleography forum), Latuin seems to have been often given in Normandy.

Information much appreciated. A lot to take in - have already got the maps out to see where the French family originated from. Now we have French and Swiss forebears, how exciting!

Found a brother of pierre Latuin called jean Louis born 11 october 1770 which lead me to find the marriage of the parents in 1769 25 july in Boos
