Robert Gaunt

Seeking information on  Robert Gaunt who married Agnes Duncan from Glasgow Scotland. I can't find a marriage cert, or any mention of husband's information.   Recently discovered that Robert was born in Dublin, as were some of their children.  Alfred- 1867, Dennis 1869, Alexander 1872. the family moved to York England where Elizabeth , Charles and Amelia were born.   Agnes was a widow by 1881.  Donna

Hello Audrey: Thank you for the reply.  That is interesting information. I got some yesterday with almost the same  names in the 1881 census from England. In that census it has the children born in Dublin, except for some younger ones. However that Elizabeth is vastly diffrent, ( see below), and there is no John.    Would you be willing  to share the rest of your info?  I Include the census for you; are you related to the Gaunts?

Hi,

Have you looked for the children's births in the indexes? Any born post 1864, it should have been registered. These are available at the Dublin GRO or on film at your local family history centre. (Church of the latter day saints)
