From an old family letter, dated 1829, we know that a Greer cousin named "Bell" (possibly Isabella), probably from Armagh, Ireland, had been married to a Samuel Rippet from Ballynabeck, but was now married to his cousin, David, son of John Rippet. I understand that a variation of the name Rippet may be Redpath. I am interested in any information about this family, particularly as it relates to the Greer family of Corlust.
