Mary Maynard.
« on: Wednesday 13 April 16 12:17 BST (UK) »
Can anyone un-confuse me?
I have recently found my gggg grandmother to be Mary Maynard, born 1806 and dying in 1860.
I found her to be the wife of Isaac Maynard and the mother of my ggg grandmother, Ann Hutchinson Maynard (1830 - 1877).
I went to Eastbourne last weekend and found her grave stone, which is inscribed with the words "from your son  William Henry"
I have found:
Elizabeth 1828
Ann 1829
Jane 1835
Isaac 1837
Mary 1839
I cannot find any trace of William Henry.
Can anyone help?

Thanks for that Annette...great help.
I have just had a look around for the census but I am obviously doing something wrong, fortunately there are people like you who knows a bit more about how it's done.
Many best wishes to you.

Real easy to find - just enter William H Maynard and up he pops with parents Isaac and Mary - they are living in Bermondsey, Surrey in 1851 - ref. HO107 - 1561 - 287 - 27
