the tricky bit is that the name
Sarah Partington was. very common in Lancashire. Found one of same age with day Lily but
then found them in 1901 so
not correct lady..best wishes
with your search.

In 1861 a House servant age 10 to Schoolmaster Joseph Faulkner
RG09/1858 f66 p1

Hi Rosie..thank you for detail re
Joseph Faulkner.
A Sarah York married Joseph
Faulkner.

name Joseph Faulkner
spouses name Sarah York
event date 24 Apr  1858
event place Madeley Shropshire
fathers name James Faulkner
spouses father William York

The Sarah who married Joseph
clearly wasn't Sarah born 1850

However she may have been
an aunt to young Sarah and
a sister of Richard York whose
father was a William York of
Madeley Shropshire

I am a descendant of Richard
York a son of William and wife

Hi  all...
I found a marriage for a
Sarah Ann Wreford in 1909 in
Pontypridd Wales on freebdm
and 2 possible males ..1. Keitch
2. Williams. .but  back to square 1.
You've all made it possible to
fill in gaps and find other relatives so very much appreciated.
I"m sure  I will find Sarah these
pieces just turn up eventually..
Again thanks heaps.

??? these Yorke girls seem to marry n disappear ..one of
Sarah's aunts Ann Yorke born in madeley shrop, 1843 married
in Lanc to a James Heat on in 1869 ..in 1871Census possibly
married to John Eaton in Lanc..
in 1881 he is married to Susannah
with dau. No trace of Ann Heaton/
Eaton/Yorke.
Gotta give it to these Yorke females they don't wanna be
found.. she was with her sister Eliza in Lanc in 1861..

Just updating this..haven't found
Sarah but found a possible marriage for Ann  Yorke one of her aunts.
Marriage  24 Sept 1861
Robert Davies to Anne Yorke
at Walton on the Hill,
Lancashire.
Father's name John Hugh Davies
Spouse's father William Yorke.

Ann appears to have died in
1874 aged 30 at west derby lancashire and Robert remarried
Children . Ellen, Emma, Ethel.
I think the 4th child Eliz A
born 1878 may be to 2nd wife.
