Hi Hi my grandmother had a brother who left Ireland in the early 1950s, he was in his 20s  To go to England to work , I think to Lancashire  his name was  (*) Duffy from Carnaross Co. Meath . He had one brother and Two sisters , his parents  names was Frank & Mary , he would be in his late 80s/early 90s if he was alive . My granny is 83 now and never stops talking about him and she has tried to find him but is unaware of social media & how it's much easier to find people nowadays, ANY INFO ON HOW TO FIND HIM WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED THANK YOU X

Hi and welcome to Rootschat

Rootschat has a "no living persons" policy so the names and details of persons who may still be alive are not allowed to be published

Without his full birthdate it would not be possible to find a death as there are other death entries for that name who were born in the 1930's

Unfortunately - Lancashire covers a very large area and there is no guarantee he continued living there if he has not had any contact with the family since leaving Ireland
