Cookham Census.
« on: Monday 18 April 16 08:16 BST (UK) »
Morning all,
can anyone help me with this one...
I have found a 1841 census:
Archive reference HO107
Piece number 15
Book number 16
Folio 7
Page 8

The census is from Cookham and refers to the two surnames Copas and Parrson.
The only problem is, a large amount of it is unreadable, or at last on the sauce that I have.

Can anyone help
hopefully

Is it George Copas 23 Charline Parsels 6 (that's how it's been transcribed anyway!)

Other Parsels (maybe Parsons?) Lura 25

Am sure that helps no end but it is very faint  ;D

Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

Hi,

I read 1841 Census Cookham:-

Lucy Parsons 25  Female Servant   born County
Caroline Parsons 6                            "       "

George Copas  20  Farm Laborer      "        "  (difficult to read his age, but all adult ages have been rounded
down so is definitely  a 0)
