Dunford family yorkshire

now i know where Dunford is a Cival Parish in the Metropolitan Bourgh of Barnsley near Dunford Bridge,
But where is Dunford Town been told it is in the Northern Part of Yorkshire.They Beleive it was pulled down by King Charles 1 .Also they say that the Durnfords came from Dunford Town do you have any information on all this please, Waiting your Answer

When the Romans Landed they were Stopped at River Don.but Biult a Fort Near River Don .They did not want to offend the Celts so they Named there Fort after the Celtic mother Goddess.Danum.This is Where you get the Name Doncaster From
the old map of the dunford bridge will show you dunford land.and dunford parish .dunford village is around dunford bridge.in 1066 dunford was given this land

please if you can help.i received this information and then looked it up and found it could be all true
in the parish of Charlbury County of Wiltshire. Dunford came there when it was called Ceorlebury.
now it is a very large Area including Fawler.and Flintstock ,The Land is no Good for Arable Planting but for Sheep. When the Dunfords owned it in 1066 so it says they had Hundreds of Sheep Feeding England
