FTDNA Test Kits
« on: Thursday 28 April 16 09:29 BST (UK) »
Can anyone tell me how long it usually takes from Dispatch {fromFTDNA Houston} to arrival in UK ?

Although there is a tracking number it seems to have stopped working {no record can be found !}

Does  the tracking end in Chicago ? :-\

Hi Kim,

It's a while since I last ordered one from FTDNA but I know the tracking stopped in America which is a bit disconcerting!  It took about a week - 10 days to arrive in the UK.

Good luck!

It should arrive within 10 days, then take 10 days for them to receive it.

Once they have the kit, it usually takes about six weeks to get results back.

Thank you for your replies

I orderdered  one Kit {unforunately just before the sale began !} on  the 19th April  it was last "clocked" at Chicago on the 23rd - no sign of it yet :(

Another in the sale on the 23rd and that was "clocked" in Houston on the 25th and again nothing since

Hopefully soon :)

Of the 2 Kits I ordered from FTDNA-the one ordered 19th April arrived 3rd May and the one ordered 23rd April arrived 4th May {there was a B/H here on the 2nd}

I returned them using Reg Mail + Tracking -posted them together 5/5/16,they were logged at O'Hare
Chicago on the 6th and I received an e-mail from FTDNA saying both received 19/5/16,so 2 weeks including weekends,am now waiting for them to be given a "batch"number and an estimated date for results usually 6-8 weeks
