Tracing details of my Grandmother Meggie Lumsden nee Stoker

I am trying to find out the date my Grandmother died and the address she was living at when she died.  Her name is Meggie Lumsden nee Stoker  she was born in 1883.

There's a Maggie (not Meggie) who died in Durham area 1968 age 84 - might that be her.

You would have to send for the death certificate to find where she was living when she died.

A Ralph Lumsden death is registered same district Jun 1959 age 75.

I'm afraid I don't know where she was born but she married Ralph Lumsden in  1910 - June I think

You should be able to find them on the 1911 census ,and by putting in Lumsden as the surname and Stoker as the mother's name,on http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ you'll get any children they had after 1911.

Ooh thanks. I have had a quick look at the free census and it only goes up to 1891.   I am very new and very green at this Searching on Roots so can you please guide me through - will be very grateful.
