1911 Census Lincolnshire - identification of granddaughter
« on: Monday 02 May 16 08:13 BST (UK) »
Hi - can anyone help me identify who's daughter this is.  I can't find a parent for her and her name is unclear and therefore can't track down a birth certificate or anything else for her.

1911 England Census
Lincolnshire, Stickford, page 03
Household Head: James Walter Toynton, aged 58

child in question: Harria Merril Toynton, granddaughter, aged 7

any help much appreciated
kind regards

Taking a guess  :-\
Birth June qtr 1903
Miriam Norah Toynton
Spilsby    7a   562

Perhaps the names written in 1911 are the other way round and nick names   :-\

According to baptism on freereg Miriam Norah's mother is Lottie a single woman, does this fit with your family.

She appears to be in your tree on Ancestry as Charlotte's daughter?

Hey thanks heaps.  I popped her in with Charlotte but only has a vague guess.  I think your guess on the name is probably much better.

Nice detective work.
Thanks heaps
