Ethel Maud Jose, Bolenoe,Troon,Camborne

I am trying to help a friend and we seem to have hit a hurdle.
We thought that we had traced Ethel Maud Jose who was  born 1904 in the Camborne district, emigrating  to the US  in 1929 to marry James Kitto.The address Flint ,Michigan. Ethel married in 1929 in the US.
Her next of kin on the manifest was her mother Mrs Jose at Bolenoe Farm,Troon,Cornwall.
Imagine our surprise when we saw Ethel Maud Jose living with her mother and siblings in 1931 at Bolenoe Farm,Troon,Camborne and possibly other electoral registers.
There is also a manifest for Ethel and James Kitto in 1951 returning to the US.
There is a post that  I left in Oct 2014 regarding the Jose family on the US lookup.

But if that is Ethel Maud Jose at home with her mother in 1929/1930/1931 who is the Ethel that married a Kitto?

Are you sure it's the same Ethel?

there are 2 other Ethel Maud's in the birth index and the electoral registers do not show ages or relationships or marital status

It is also possible that the form for entry onto the electoral register was completed by someone else and she should not have been included

The other Ethel Maud Jose's were born in 1892 and the one who emigrated was born in 1904.
I agree with you  that she may have been included on the register when she shouldn't have been.
