Charles Heath Russia
« on: Wednesday 11 May 16 15:19 BST (UK) »
Hi, trying to find  Wilheminia Amalia Ledingson the wife of Charles Heath, they were married at the English Chaplency in St Petersburg in 1862, charles was born in 1826 so because I cant find her birth or anything else about her im assuming she might of been married before the only reference i hsve of her is a private letter from princess Olga descibing Charles who was her English Tutor and mentioned his wife and called her Benvis? Wich i think could be her maiden name, any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi Chris, sorry I am not replying with help.
My family has a story that my gr gr grandfather taught French about the same time as your Charles in the Russian Court. Until recently I took this story with a grain of salt, however I have just found a birth for a gr uncle born in St Petersburg which kind of makes me wonder if there is some truth to the story after all. I wondered if you could maybe point me in the direction of some research aids?

I am looking for any reference to the surname MALAQUIN, who were French.
