I have been told that Amy JEFFERY died 1959 in New Zealand but have found no evidence yet.

Any links; details etc about the family would be welcome

Hi Muffin

In Rosie's earlier post re: George JEFFERY, she mentioned his Army file gave his mother's name as "Mrs. A. ROBINSON".

There is a New Zealand marriage in 1926 of an Amy JEFFERY to Charles Henry ROBINSON.

Further, there is also a Probate file (with annexed Will) which refers to Amy's son > namely "Robert Melhuish JEFFERY".

You can view the probate file at familysearch website (for free).

*  Correction  *   to my Reply # 6

Re:  reference to George JEFFERY "Army file".

This should have read as being info for George Melhuish JEFFERY ... sourced from the NZ Army WW II Nominal Rolls , 1939-1948 Index  (rather than "Army File").
