There is a photograph of an old Emily Slender at Valley Stream:
http://www.valleystream.co.uk/romany-welsh%20.htm
I could not find anything there written about the Slender family.

Perrin Brooke Williams/Lee was the son of Samson and Gravalina (Lee) Williams, who married Darkless Slender, who on Romany Genes is Darklis Lee. Also, on Romany Genes and listed as Perum Scamp, Perrin Brooke Williams, was from the Scamp lineage, who took Williams when arriving in Wales. The Romany Genes website is presently not available.

Baptism: Drewie Ellis Lea . 1904 . St. Catherine Pontypridd . Father: Perrin Brooks . Basket Maker . Mother: Darkless . The Van Merthyr Rd

Marriage: Perrin Brooks W Lee . Darkless Slender . Apr-Jun 1899 . Pontypridd . Volume 11A . Page 806 It has to be the Perrin Brooke above; and also confirms Perum Scamp is Perrin Brooke Williams. He would be 27 and must have added Lee, may be from Gravalina his mother being a Lee, or from Darkless as on Romany Genes she is a Lee. If Darkless was a Lee, did she marry a Slender, or simply took the name? The name changes can be too much.

Is there any further information regarding Darkless Slender/Lee/Williams?

It wasn't that Emily Slender who married into the Price's. Emily Slender, daughter of Nicholas Thomas Slender, married a  Robert Stevenson, she died in 1894 in Glasgow. I think the Emily who married Craddock, may have been the daughter of Thomas Slender.

Hello all am helping a friend build their tree and understand DNA matches
His mother b1940 Newport Wales had PRICE
As mmn  on records .

..I'm sending off for birth certificate now

DNA indicates a match to descendants of caradoc PRICE & SLENDER too match to a ggrandchild of Bertie FUDGE.+ Rosie PRICE
+
*Another descendant of cradddock & Phiance PRICE
Who are probably my friends great grandparents

.father was JOHNSON  from Africa ( DNA indicates Benin toga + ivory coast but possibly Ghana)  .she was a middle child but don't know how many brothers or sisters

I've been looking at records and found that a few of the children were baptised more than once ...I wonder what the reason could be
I can t find a marriage that fits

Jilly can you contact me to see if your daughter is. A DNA match . There are photos on several of the ancestry tree profiles now too.
