searching for links to the JOY surname,
« on: Saturday 24 July 04 19:25 BST (UK) »
I'm trying  to find anyone who may have links to this name .. and  also have reason to believe that its family members might have originated in Ireland, and migrated from  Cornwall -mainly to  to London , but also  to any  other counties on the East/Southern English  coastal area.
thankyou

Don't know if the JOY name you are looking for happened to be in Dunolly, Victoria, Australia but I came across this name when researching the history of my house. The Joy family in Dunolly hand made the bricks for my house which dates from 1861. Sorry I don't really know anymore.
