Thanks very much people for all that info, helps greatly. Florence Gertrude was my maternal grandfathers sister, but there was a big family rift when she was young, so not a lot of info about her. But I definitely have something to work with now. And funnily enough, I know about Vermont and South Plympton, I went to high school in Vermont.
