I have only been able to find one person in the indexes I have searched in relation to your post.

1855 Griffiths valuation of Cloonlara:  Thomas O'Brien

See:

(I have an interest in Cloonlara, as my gggrandmother, Mary Wall, migrated to Brisbane in 1853)

I have found a rather confusing entry for a bapt for a daughter of a Daniel and Charlotte  BRYAN or BRY in the Doonass & Truagh RC bapt register, which is the old parish which takes in Cloonlara.  The writing is quite clear but nearly every child in the record is given a second (?Christian) which does not correspond with the surname of the parents.  Thus I found this:

20 Feb 1852  Anne Ryan  parents: Danl & Charlotte BRYAN or BRY (of) Canal Bridge
Sponsors: Michael (?) & Margt  ?Tilley (of) Summerhill.

The indexers indexed the surname as BRY for the parents but RYAN for the child.

Did they have a daughter, Anne?  Regards

Thanks for that yes they had a child called Ann!
She must of been a baby when they sailed for Australia as they arrived in 1853.
Interesting that her Sponsors were Michael and Margaret maybe?Ryan.....
They apparently had three other children in Ireland 1.Margaret 2.Honorah 3.Mary  4. Anne, the fifth was born in Australia.

Cheers for that one!

Some parish registers are available to view/browse here:

http://www.nli.ie/en/parish-register.aspx

Also civil registration began in Ireland after 1845 which may include the children.  This index is searchable on the Latterday Saints at familysearch.

To clarify the LDS information further- civil registration of births, deaths & Catholic marriages started in 1864, registration of non-Catholic marriages started 1845.
