copying a thread into another forum category
« on: Friday 20 May 16 18:38 BST (UK) »
Hi, I have just added a post to an older thread of mine seeking help. The subject of the new post has extended the field of inquiry. I now needt to copy the whole thread into the forum relating to Ireland. Can somebody tell me how I can do this?

Regards

Doddie

hi  sarah
thanks for re-wording my message so it is clear .

I'd just done the same thing but was in a quandry about taking my topic off the Ireland forum to include it on the Scots one ..

scouses suggestion is good too ;if you summarise the findings saves people scrolling through a long topic

stay on both boards for people searching in each region

but add a link from  each to the other to save duplicate posting
(I'm guilty of that pitfall )

(maybe the modifiers can add the link at the start of the topic or a red edit note as we cant modify our old postings ourselves )

The modifiers do a great job

.good luck with your renewed search  Doddie
