Are you missing both Ada and her daughter?  This couple were together with the ANNETTS surname at Adelong from at least 1930.  She is Ada Victoria May on electoral rolls.  The marriage was the year after the death of James Patrick FRANCIS at Cooma.

6847/1954
ANNETTS, ARTHUR FREDERICK
FRANCIS,    ADA MAY
ADELONG

Debra  :)

Only Greta, Debra.
She remains a mystery.  ???

There is a probate file for Arthur Frederick Annetts which I could photograph next time I am there if you wish

Ada ANNETTS was 87 when she died at Wagga. Parents not listed.

3026/1978  ANNETTS Ada Victoria May
Died at WAGGA WAGGA
087 (=aged 87)

Not much help with anything, but an interesting item. The beginning of this article is missing but it tells of a fatal mishap with a “horse-o-plane” which is operated by Charles Albert FRANCIS in 1953

Thanks Sue,
Interesting article. For anyone wanting to read it, the start of the article is in the column to the left, just not highlighted as his name is not is in that column.

Monaro Pioneers website has information about the family and quite a bit about Ada Victoria May BRITT's three partnerships.  Unfortunately nothing useful about Greta.  I think you have to register to access the info but it's free and seems to be reasonably well-researched citing references.  Obviously some of the info needs checking.

Thanks for that Judith.
I've used this site a lot as there's lots of family from the area.
More information now including photos I've not seen  :D
Must check out all the other arms of the tree for any other additions
Fun  ;D

You could change your preferences to 'instantly' and then you'll get a notification every time.

May be worth giving it a go. You can tuen it back if you get too many emails.

Hi dawnsh,
Thanks for looking into that.
I've been receiving them today, and always have in the past, just not the ones from earlier in the thread.
Strange  ???
Regards,
Alison
