I am interested in this William who fought in the Battle of the Boyne in Londonderry.

The Battle of the Boyne took place much further south, in a different county entirely.

We start with an Anthony Gardner who marries Johanna Mary Leahy in Waterford City in 1809, and they have a son Thomas in 1810.
However, we also DNA connect to a very long line of Gardner DNA people calling themselves Holloway in England. Jim has details.

Maiden Stone, I am sure Paul meant the Siege of Derry which is about when Theopolus Gardner arrived in Derry.
