Hi I'm looking for a Margaret,Margery lock born in 1805 in bridgenorth,Shropshire,she married a Elijah smith I can find him on the 1861 census but I think he has taken her name. I would like to know who her parents were thank you xx

hi! It has been suggested by a user here: http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/LOCKE/2004-04/1083054167
that Margaret was born about 1814, parents Matthew and Membrance Lock nee Boswell. Many family trees also have this, however, I'm trying to find actual proof. Hope this can help

I have found other children:
Matthew 1807 Toddington Gloucester
Lucy 1815 Lichfield Staffordshire
Ezekiah 1812 Cheswardine Shropshire - they were in the area
Buz 1822 Claverley Shropshire - they clearly moved between places
Noah 1824 Claverley
Plentiness 1820 Trusyll Stafford

Do any of these names appear in Margaret's children?

I wondered in anyone had had any success in linking the Chetwodes of Oakley Hall, near Market Drayton, with other Shropshire bearers of the name or its variants.
