Yes he married Ruby and died in1983 - they do take 3 to 4 weeks, if you look on the GRO website that's is what yey advise (this is how long the sons marriage certificate took) - they do, do an express service but was hoping someone may have access to the information I require (funds are limited due to daughters wedding)

I don't normally have a problem with the GRO and get the certificate in 7-10 days unless Who do you think you are is on the tv.

GRO website says this for standard certificates (not priority)

I find it a bit difficult to believe that there were 2 George Douglas DARROCHs born in Sussex in 1906.

The family are in Scotland in 1911. I could only do a short search and George is listed as born 1906.
